PricingSince each web site and each client is unique, we do not have a parts-bin price list. Unlike chicken, parts is not parts! We do, however, prepare a fixed price proposal for each client after an extensive interview with them. We do not charge an hourly rate with the exception of on-site consultation fees for organizations that require us to be involved in extensive ongoing "decision making" meetings or for onsite training for those organizations that need to update their sites on a daily basis. With these organizations we will set up an hourly rate structure in advance. In situations other than these, we believe that an hourly rate structure is not only misleading when comparing proposals from various companies, it is also a license to steal! What may take one firm an hour to do may very well take another firm four or five hours to do. The more experience the web designer has and the better the equipment he or she has at their disposal, the quicker they will get the job done. More often than not, the firm that advertises a low hourly rate is in reality the more expensive option. We believe everyone should know up front what the total investment for their web site will be. We never send out surprise bills! Having said that, we do want you to know that when compared to the competition, our pricing structure falls somewhere between middle and upper middle of the road. We are definitely not the bargain basement shop giving away our services. If that is what you are looking for, you need to go somewhere else. Just be forewarned that what you receive from a bargain basement shop will more often than not be worth less than what you paid for it. Products from these shops often have a negative impact on their clients' businesses. We have highly trained quality people on our staff and we need to charge enough to be able to pay them what they are worth and still maintain a reasonable profit. We do not, however, need to charge the exorbitant rates that some of the more well known firms charge. We don't have or desire the prestigious downtown, high rent office space that they have. We don't have a puffed up ego that needs fed. We are not interested in any of the other trappings they may have that don't add any value to the clients' projects. While we are far from being the low price leader in the field, we do believe that we are the number one value leader. We believe that nobody will give you more bang for the buck than we will.
