Clients' Sites

The clients' websites listed in the extensive list below have been created over a long span of time dating back to the internet's commercial beginning in 1996 and have had budgets ranging from as low as a few hundred dollars up to well over several thousand dollars. Both of these parameters need to be taken into consideration when looking at the sites.

Clems Trailer Sales - is a very fast loading - easy to navigate site that promotes the products and services of the largest Recreational Vehicle Dealer in Western Pennsylvania. This site features Clem's entire used RV inventory online including two or three photos of every RV. With continual updates a necessity, the site was designed to be easy for the staff at Clem's to update themselves. Alan Enterprises provided the staff's training on-site and continues to do on-site trouble shooting when needed.

Robert Nelson Agency - is one of the most comprehensive insurance sites developed for an independent insurance agency to be found anywhere. This site is rich in resources for both agents and clients. It also has some animated charactures that add a whimsical touch without taking away from the professionalism of the site.

Saint Frances Cabrini Parish - is a major resource of timely information for this large Catholic parish located in Center Twp., PA. Bulletins are updated weekly. Father Kleppner's weekly messages to the parish are archived. There are 44 "ministries" in the parish that each has their own page on the site.

The SunShield Pros - is another very comprehensive site - this time featuring both products and services. This site has a shopping cart area that is very intuitive to use. It also has some animation utilizing Macromedia Flash that is designed to help sell the product.

Precise Accounting and Consulting Services, Inc. - is a professional corporate-looking site with a warmer, more personal feel to it. While being extremely comprehensive with the amount of information it contains - it is still very easy to navigate and the pages all load very quickly.

Michael W. Nalli PC - Attorney and Counselor at Law - is another very comprehensive site - this time featuring in depth all of the practice areas handled by the law firm. We are currently video taping short presentations for each of the practice areas to be included in the website. These videos will be online early April 2008.

Realtors® Gary and Katie Mann - this site was designed to give the real estate husband and wife team an extra edge in the very competitive Outer Banks North Carolina real estate market. Rather than depend on the agencies website and chance losing a prospective client to another agent within the agency, they decided to have their own website created that they could direct prospective clients to. They also use the website as a major source of lead generation.

The Village of Homewood Junction - is a unique community website in that it focuses more on the history and ongoing social events of the community rather than the on items like zoning permits etc... that are the norm for community sites. The goal of this website is to help develop the community as a tourist attraction. The navigation bar uses a railroad theme tying in with the community's railroad roots. As you move the cursor over the buttons the conductor displays different signs describing the "stops".

Health Coalition Partners - While at first glance this appears to be a very simple site with only four pages, Alan Enterprises was able to solve a problem that the client had been struggling with for several years. The one page is actually a data base drive page listing over 8,000 providers that needed to be able to be searched by various parameters and also needed to be easily updated on an almost daily basis by their staff. The solution provided by the previous website design company was cumbersome to both the end user and to the people that had to maintain it. Alan Enterprises was able to quickly solve this problem with a solution that is very easy for the end user to use and for the in house staff to maintain. The people at Health Coalition Partners were pleasantly surprised that Alan Enterprises was able to solve all of their problems while creating a much more visually appealing website - all in about a week's time - and for less money than what they had been appropriating for the project.

The Pittsburgh School of Pain Management - website has been credited in large part for the financial success of the school in as the website has been the main vehicle for bringing in out of state students. The website serves as a recruiting tool, a resource for current students keeping track of class schedules and the like, and a place where students are easily able to make their tuition payments.

The Center for Hope needed a way to reach several very different audiences. First, they needed to reach the people they serve with up-to-date information on all of the services and programs that they have to offer. Next, they needed to reach people in the community that wanted to volunteer at the Center. And finally, they needed to be able to reach people that wanted to make financial contributions to the Center. The Center for Hope website accomplishes all three of these needs. All of the Center's programs are listed and described on the site along with a monthly calendar of events for those that the Center serves. There is a place for people to sign up to be a volunteer. And there are places for people to make online donations along with some other unique online fundraising programs that do not require people to part with any of their money!

The Wooden Angel Restaurant - has long been recognized as one of the top restaurants in the Greater Pittsburgh Area and their website had to reflect this. Created over a decade ago, the Wooden Angel's website has stood the test of time without any major redesign. This is a testament to good design. Just like the restaurant, the site is elegant but understated - a definite class act. When you land on the Wooden Angel's home page, you know you have come to the right place!

As a marketing tool, the website has been and continues to be very effective in bringing in new business for weddings, rehearsal dinners, business luncheons and dinners, and off site catering.

When viewing these sites, we believe it would be very beneficial to you if you were to invite an Alan Enterprises representative to sit in on the viewing to explain why things were done in a certain way. There are many concerns that have been addressed in the design of these sites that make them excellent sites. These concerns are often very subtle and not noticeable by the viewer. However, when not addressed properly, they can have a major negative impact on the success of the site.

The Internet is not the place for you to make decisions based on intuition or on what you personally like and dislike. This is the quickest road to failure. As with most things, success on the Internet results when you follow a success pattern - a road map that has been developed by the trial and errors of countless hundreds of others. This information is continually studied and disseminated by Alan Enterprises so that our clients don't fall victim to the latest fad or theory.
